Two modules, real-time SoD monitoring

The scope of the project includes the implementation of two modules - smartSoD and smartReport - in Vesuvius's SAP environment. Both modules were installed on Vesuvius's IT infrastructure, with all necessary setup activities completed for a functional software environment.

A connection was established between the modules and Vesuvius's existing SAP ECC system to enable seamless data exchange and real-time reporting capabilities.

The 2022 Segregation of Duties matrix was uploaded into smartSoD, providing the foundation for managing and monitoring SoD risks according to Vesuvius's specific guidelines. Both smartSoD and smartReport were configured to align with Vesuvius's operational, compliance and reporting requirements - including user roles, custom report settings and adherence to internal policies.

SoD matrix upload

Loading the existing 2022 SoD matrix into smartSoD (after business confirmation) as the foundation for monitoring.

Step 4

Tool setup & config

Configuration of user roles, report settings and alignment with internal compliance requirements.

Step 5

User acceptance testing (UAT)

Validating end-to-end functionality, resolving critical issues and signing off the system for production use.
